Raphael brinkert

Raphael Brinkert is the creative head of the SPD 2021 election campaign, Germany's most awarded sports marketer, founder of brinkertlück (w&v Agency of the Year 2021) and Jung von Matt/sports (Europe's most creative sports marketing agency 2018), long-standing board member of the Gesamtverband Kommunikationsagenturen GWA, advisory board member of DSM Deutsche Sport Marketing, lecturer at the International School of Management (ISM), and member of the board of trustees of the Robert Enke Foundation.

He has been self-employed since 2018, initially with start-up support from Jung von Matt. In 2020, he brought Switzerland's most successful advertiser, Dennis Lück, into the agency, which has been operating under the name brinkertlück since 2021 with 70 employees in Germany and Switzerland, serving clients such as DFB, DSEE, Swisscom, Zürich Versicherung and SPD.

From 2000 to 2010, he worked for Scholz & Friends, most recently as founding CF of Scholz & Friends NRW for clients ranging from Vodafone to RWE and the DFL. From 2011-2013 Raphael was responsible for JvM/Fleet as Managing Director, and worked with clients including DFB (United by Football - Euro 2024 application, etc.), Mercedes, Sixt, Zalando and GE. Then, from 2013-2018 Raphael founded and managed JvM/sports.

Work, in whose implementation he has played a key role has won over 500 prizes in creative, efficiency, digital and sponsorship competitions. Handelsblatt, the business newspaper for which he wrote as a columnist from 2014-2016, named him one of the top 25 up-and-coming managers in Germany in 2007. He was also named one of Germany's Top 20 Online Marketeers in 2017 by Online Marketing Rockstars.

Raphael founded the Facebook page of FC Schalke 04, which he handed over to the club with 300 million interactions. He has also ceded his private Facebook page of the Bundesliga with 2.6 million fans to T-Online.

On the side, Raphael has worked as the initiator of the human rights campaign "Everyone has the right to human rights" and idea generator of the aid campaign "We kick Corona". He also supports celebrities such as Leon Goretzka in marketing and communications, along with his hometown club, TuS Haltern am See, as head of strategy.

After the successful European election campaign in 2019 for Angela Merkel and the CDU, he was responsible with brinkertlück as lead agency for the Bundestag election campaign for the SPD and the chancellor candidacy of today's Chancellor Olaf Scholz in 2021.
